iPad OS 14

Pros

  • Has all features that iPad has except one that will be expanded in the cons.

  • It can now do a split screen which has been brought to all models of iPad.

  • It has cursor and keyboard support.

  • WIth iPad OS 14, the Apple pencil is not only used for drawing, but it is used for productivity. Some examples are scribble and copy as text from drawing-writing.

Cons

  • The split screen does not have as much flexibility as a Windows computer.

  • You can’t download software that is not supported as an app.

iPad 8th gen

Pros

  • The iPad 8 gen fits all budgets- can get a iPad with 32gb for 329 dollars and 128gb for a hundred more

  • A very light iPad- good for everyday use

  • Has a AUX port and home button

  • Apple pencil support

  • Like the pro models, it has the smart connecters

  • It can run iPad Os like the iPad Pro

  • Has touch id

  • Display is perfect for all size hands

  • Comes with a 20 watt usb-c brick

Cons

  • To make it cheaper apple uses a A12 chip instead of a A14 chip

  • Doesn't have portrait mode

  • There is no silent ringer (physically) only do not disturb

iPad Air

Pros

  • There are thinner bezels compared to the home button iPads.

  • It is harder to bend because it is thicker.

  • Has the new design.

  • Weighs exactly a pound which is lighter than the 11 inch iPad pro.

  • Has 1.8% reflectivity, which is pretty good.

  • 500 nits brightness, which is less than the iPad pro but acceptable.

  • A14 chip which is its new one.

  • Has the touch ID sensor in the power button.

  • Has Apple pencil two support and magic keyboard support.

  • Has USB-C which is good and universal.

  • 10 hours of battery life.

Cons

  • The bezels are very thick compared to the iPad pro.

  • The price tag for the 128 GB model is very high. Rather buy a certified refurbished iPad pro.

  • The value is not as good as the iPad pro because of the thinner bezels, and the 120 hirtz display.

  • It has the 60 hirtz display which is okay for the price.

  • It cost $150 more dollars for the 128 gigabit model which seems to be necessary for a high power iPad.

iPad Pro

Pros

  • The iPad Pro has a huge display in a small footprint.

  • The bezels are very thin and even thinner than the iPad Air.

  • It has the Apple Pencil support for the second generation apple pencil

  • Has a lidar sensor which would be good for AR (augmented reality) apps and tasks.

  • There is a 12.9 inch display, which is great.

  • Very thin with a 5.9 millimeter thickness.

  • Very light with a 1.04 pound weight for the 11 inch model, and for the 12.9 inch model the weight is 1.42 pounds.

  • 600 nits brightness for the display.

  • Insane processor- the A12Z processor which is faster then most laptops and is faster than the intel macs.

  • Four Speakers which offer very loud and high quality sound.

  • The microphone is very high quality.

  • Face ID offers the most convenience.

  • USB-C is the charging and data transfer port.

  • 10 hours of surfing the web on WI-FI or watching video.

  • Compatible with a magic keyboard.

  • Comes with 128 GB of storage.

  • Absolutely insane processor

  • 120 hertz display, which is so good.

Cons

  • The value is not as good as the iPad 8th gen.

  • The camera is too good for the things that you would use the camera for such as scanning documents.

  • Portrait mode is not enabled in the back cameras even though it has a 12 megapixel wide, a 10 megapixel ultra wide.

  • No headphone jack in which the whole point of removing it is for waterproofing and for battery size. No one is going to bring their iPad in the water and the battery is already huge.

  • Easy to bend because it is so thin.
